DON BOSCO ASHALAYAM, NEW DELHI

Don Bosco Ashalayam, Delhi has made a huge impact on the people staying in the nearby slums. They have supported more than 32,000 people since the beginning of the lockdown. We are happy to note that approximately 24,000 children were distributed cooked food and 2,500 plus people received ration kits for one week. The migrant workers living below the fly-over, were given one-time meal daily and ration kits for other times of the day. Rag pickers from the slums were also given food provisions. Since the families nearby know about Ashalayam, they directly approached the centre in-charge for assistance. The centre welcomed each person that knocked its door with generosity and did not send back anyone empty-handed.
