DON BOSCO KUNKURI, CHATTISGARH

Since this pandemic lockdown, Fr. Joe D’Souza, sdb, has reached out to 38 poor, marginalized, and some mentally challenged patients by providing cooked food for one and a half months (March & April). The people who have received support are from Don Bosco Centre, Kunkuri and Jeevan Sahara centre (13 children and 13 adults). They were given cooked food. Don Bosco Centre, Khudgaon has provided special care and food to 12 mentally challenged patients. Rather than providing ration kits for a week to more people, these centres have provided cooked food for 38 persons since the lockdown began. It has been an immense satisfaction to see that these people trust us and have come continuously to the centre for food.
